- Well, you didn't give much to go on, but here goes. I have a CEM2 on a TI
- laptop and I needed to go through some hoops to make it work reliably. First,
- make sure that you have the latest firmware and software drivers for the CEM2.
- You obviously have Internet access, so get the updates from www.xircom.com.

- Next, your PCMCIA driver is probably too old. In order to work reliably, you
- need a PCMCIA driver that supports PCMCIA level 2.1. My original driver only
- supported level 2.0.

- Once you have done all of that, you will probably have success. BTW, my modem
- is set for COM2, using the commands and drivers in the CEM2 manual. Good luck.
